It’ll be in support of their much-anticipated seventh studio album, The Car, which is due for release on 21 October.

The LP marks their first in four years and features the lead single “There’d Better Be a Mirrorball” and follow-up track, “Body Paint”.

Their headline North American tour will see them joined by Fontaines D.C. across the run.

Last month the group announced a headline UK stadium tour, with tickets selling out in hours, leading to them adding extra dates due to huge demand.

It’s expected that their US and Canada dates will also be in high demand when tickets go on sale this week.
