That’s right – Drag Race UK season four will kick off on BBC Three at 9pm on Thursday, 22 September.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of the BBC unveiling the star-studded celebrity guest list for the new season, including Allison Hammond, Joanna Lumley, Mel B, Olly Alexander and Aisling Bea.

The teaser doesn’t give much away but does give a glimpse at some of the fabulous outfits we could expect to see this season.

We will also see a return of the classic challenges, from lip sync for your life to the Snatch Game which will be overseen by Strictly‘s Aj Odudu and Tess Daly. As well as death drops, tricks, splits and more.

Now only weeks away, it’s time to get your best guesses in for which Queens will be making an appearance, with Drag Race UK yet to announce the list.

Viewers have also  been sharing their excitement at their favourite celebrities, with one fan pointing out Drag Race UK is now only one Spice Girl away from completing the set.

Drag Race UK only one Spice Girl away to complete the Spice Infinity Gems and it’s of course miss Posh,” they wrote.

Meanwhile, another fan said: “Joanna Lumley is going to be a judge on Drag Race UK. I have been waiting my entire life for this!!!!!”

Despite all the exciting news, the upcoming season has also faced some backlash after Boy George was announced as a celebrity judge.

Many fans called out Boy George’s problematic past and have questioned why he has a place on the show.

The BBC have given no comment on the matter.
