Ryan Gosling continues to stan Doctor Who’s Ncuti Gatwa and fans are obsessed
Ryan Gosling has once again professed his love for new Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa after being spotted wearing his face on a t-shirt.
The internet was sent into a frenzy in June when Gosling was pictured in the unofficial merch, with returning Doctor Who showrunner Russell T Davies jokingly threatening to send the actor a cease and desist.
Now, Gosling has opened up about his love for Gatwa.
Appearing on The One Show, Gosling said: “Ncuti, I am such a big fan of Ncuti’s, he is the coolest and him playing Doctor Who is like the most exciting thing that’s happening right now, so I’m here for it.”
Gosling and Doctor Who fans united in their adoration for the love-fest between the two actors.
“THE Ryan Gosling saying that Ncuti being the Doctor is the most exciting thing happening right now[…] what kind of bonkers but brilliant timeline are we living in,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “Ryan Gosling and Ncuti Gatwa gassing each other up is my favourite thing to happen on social media this week.”
Russell T Davies also added his two cents, posting a video of the interview to Instagram and adding: “Ryan speaks the truth!”
Ncuti Gatwa, who was announced as the new Doctor in May, will appear in the upcoming Barbie film opposite Ryan Gosling. Margot Robbie will play the titular role.
Gosling was on the set of the film when he was first spotted in his Ncuti Gatwa t-shirt.

After the image went viral, Gatwa posted it his Instagram story with the caption: “Dolls supporting Doctors. Yass King. As if I couldn’t love him anymore.”
Gatwa also raved about Gosling after the premier of his film, The Gray Man.
“I’m so gassed to watch this film,” he said. “The most formidable actor and generous person to work with.”
We can’t wait to see their bromance blossom.
