Hayley Kiyoko and Becca Tilley let Taylor Swift in on their secret relationship years ago

Becca Tilley has revealed that Taylor Swift was one of the first to know about her romance with Hayley Kiyoko.

Hayley Kiyoko, AKA Lesbian Jesus, confirmed that she has been in a relationship with Tilley for four years after the pair appeared together in her new music video, “For The Girls”.

Although the pair have kept their romance out of the public eye, Tilley has revealed that they shared their secret with none other than Taylor Swift in 2018.

Speaking on her podcast Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad, Tilley explained that she flew out to Boston to watch Swift and Kiyoko, presumably for their epic joint performance in 2018’s Reputation Tour.

“I think that was the first person who knew outside of my friends and family,” she said.

During the podcast, Tilley also thanked Kiyoko for helping her to “feel brave” before going public with their relationship.

“I was not prepared for the amount of love and support that we got,” she said. “Like, I just could have never predicted.”

Although Tilley has spoken about being in a relationship since 2018, she used the code-name ‘95p’ to refer to Kiyoko.

However, Tilley said that their relationship was no secret to their friends and family: “We were very much ourselves. We held hands in public. We kiss. If I met someone … I introduce her [as] my girlfriend, Hayley.

“I really made an effort to make sure that there was that distinction between private and secret.”

Kiyoko and Tilley’s fans have gone wild for the romance, with many congratulating them after Kiyoko referred to Tilley as ‘her girl’ on Twitter.
