The band features the colours of the Progress Pride flag – including the black and brown stripes and the pink, blue and white stripes – alongside the word “Pride” woven on it.
Plus the cursive lettering of “Pride” is a throwback to the original 1984 Macintosh. Users were greeted with a “Hello” text on the groundbreaking computer.
The text on the band has a three-dimensional look, thanks to a new technique in which several layers of the nylon-woven textile loops were removed.
Apple has also debuted a new intersectional-themed Pride watch face, which, “combines colors to represent the strength and mutual support of the LGBTQ+ movement”

The digital imagery reflects the woven bands of the Sport Loop, which move when the wearer raises their wrist, taps the face, or rotates the Digital Crown.
To mark Pride Month Apple has teamed up with Nike for a second exclusive Pride Edition Sport Loop. It differs from Apple’s with the addition of black stripes alongside the rainbow stripes.
This is a design element of Nike’s ongoing Be True campaign, which promotes LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality in sports.
