This skincare brand is leading the way with its hemp and CBD products

Hey Bud Skincare has launched two new CBD products.

Hey Bud Skincare is the brand that’s leading the way with its popular hemp and CBD products.

From drinks that help you de-stress to skincare products that will have you glowing, CBD is the latest ingredient taking over the beauty and wellness world.

It’s also known as hemp, and its benefits include relieving dryness and helping achieve a healthy, glowing complexion.

And don’t be put off, as CBD and hemp products are THC-free, which is the component of a cannabis plant that gets you high.

One brand making waves is Hey Bud Skincare, Australia’s number one-selling hemp skincare range which launched 18 months ago.

Since its launch the brand has found itself a dedicated following who are snapping up the products.

Hey Bud has recently added two new products to its range, with the release of Niacinamide + Hemp Serum and a Hemp Gel Moisturiser.

The two new products are designed to be used together, with the serum helping control excess sebum which prevents breakouts and tackles acne.

It’s rich in hemp seed oil to replenish hydration and deeply moisturise the complexion to combat the visible signs of ageing.

This should be followed up with the lightweight gel moisturiser, which hydrates the skin for up to 72 hours.

It’s ingredients include Allantoin, which soothes irritated or sensitive skin and helps speed up healing and cell regeneration.

It also, of course, contains hemp seed oil to reduce flakiness and other visible signs of dry or dehydrated skin.

CBD is also a favourite among famous faces, with the likes of Whoopi Goldberg, Emma Roberts and Kristen Bell all using CBD products.

Bell has previously posted on her Instagram story that it helps her “sore muscles after working out”, reports Marie Clare.

Why hemp?

If you’re wondering why hemp is becoming a popular choice in skincare then we’ve got some more details.

The oils derived from the cannabis plant have been found to drastically improve various skin conditions. This is thanks to the plants ability to reduce sebum production and anti-inflammatory elements.

Hemp seed oil and CBD stop sebaceous glands from producing excessive sebum, which stops the activation of acne properties such as inflammatory cytokines.

Hemp seed oil has also been shown to help relieve dermatitis and psoriasis symptoms due to hydration properties. Due to the high levels of Omega 3 and Omega 6 essential fatty acids, hemp seed oil is a perfect compliment to your skin care creams, which helps with collagen production.
