Lil Nas X has announced a headline world tour for 2022 – and tickets go on sale soon.

The Long Live Montero Tour will see the rapper perform his biggest solo shows to date and he announced them in the most Lil Nas X way.

He revealed the news with a clip on social media, which sees him welcome people to “my world, my universe” where “everyone’s allowed, except gay people”.

Fans can get their hands on tickets from ticketmaster.co.uk and ticketmaster.com across the next week.

The tour will be in support of his iconic debut album, Montero which features singles “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” and “Industry Baby”.

Posting on Twitter, he announced the shows, saying: “i’m having my very first tour. and all of u better come or i will cry on instagram live.”

The preview clip also features some of his most iconic moments from the past year, including snippets from “Montero (Call Me By Your Name) music video, which saw him give Satan a lap dance.

Other moments include his three-in-one outfit on the Met Gala red carpet and shots from his groundbreaking performance at the BET Awards.

His headline tour will kick off on 6 September in Detroit and visit venues across North America before heading to Europe in November.

He’ll perform dates in Spain, Netherlands, Germany and France throughout the month, including London’s Eventim Apollo on 12 November.

How to get Lil Nas X tickets

The US dates go on general sale at 10am local time on 29 April via ticketmaster.com. A Cashapp presale takes place from 10am on 27 April and you can find out more about that on Ticketmaster, just select your preferred tour date for access.

Meanwhile the UK will go on general sale from 10am local time on 6 May via ticketmaster.co.uk and for the European shows via ticketmaster.com.
