Banks has announced a 2022 UK tour and tickets go on sale soon.

Banks has announced a headline UK tour for 2022 – and tickets go on sale soon.

The artist will tour across the country this September in support of her upcoming album, Serpentina.

It’ll kick off at London’s Roundhouse before heading to Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow.

Fans can get their hands on tickets from 10am on 8 April via Ticketmaster.

Her fourth album will be released on 8 April and features singles “I Still Love You”, “The Devil” and “Meteorite”.

It will mark her first release as an independent artist after parting ways with Harvest Records, following the release of her 2019 LP.

In a statement discussing the album, the singer said: “In the past I’ve been really tight and controlled, and I don’t feel like that right now. I just feel more wild and free.

“Snakes represent rebirth and the shedding of one’s skin,” she said of the title. “They just move on, and I think that’s what life is about. Changing and transforming, with a little bit of danger, but also smooth and silky. It just felt like the perfect representation.

“This album feels regal to me, but also my most human ever. So I think it kind of touches both ends of the spectrum.”

The singer announced the accompanying tour on Instagram, confirming that it’ll also head to venues in North America and Europe this year.

They go on general sale at 10am on 8 April via Ticketmaster.
