LCD Soundsystem tour: dates, tickets and presale info for London residency shows

LCD Soundsystem have announced a London residency at the O2 Academy Brixton.

The group will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first time they performed live in London.

It will take place across four nights on 29 June and 1-3 July and mark their first UK shows in more than four years.

Fans can get their hands on LCD Soundsystem tickets at 10am on 11 March from Ticketmaster and See Tickets.

They teased the announcement earlier this month, with logos of the band’s record label, DFA Records being displayed in London alongside slogans reading “you are here”.

They first performed in London in 2002 at Arthur Baker’s ‘Return To New York’ and Erol Alkan’s ‘Trash’ parties.

The news of the London dates follows up their 2021 residency at New York’s Brooklyn Steel in late 2021.

Each of the shows had a different setlist featuring hits like “All My Friends”, “I Can Change” and “New York, I Love You but You’re Bringing Me Down”.

This was alongside rarely played live tracks including “Time To Get Away” and “Thrills” and a Joy Division cover.

When do tickets go on sale?

They go on general sale at 10am on 11 March via Ticketmaster and See Tickets.

Tickets are priced at £59.50, plus booking fees for both the floor standing and seated balcony sections.

Can I get presale tickets?

Yes, there’s a number of presales taking place across the week, so fans can get their hands on tickets early.

There’s an O2 priority sale from 10am on 9 March for customers on the O2 mobile network. This will take place at priority.o2.co.uk/tickets and you’ll need to log in or sign up using your mobile number.

The second presale takes place from 10am on 10 March. This is a Ticketmaster presale, to access this you’ll need to sign up to Ticketmaster and you’ll receive an email with a link to purchase presale tickets.
