Alongside the headline shows, it’s also been confirmed that she’ll perform sets at Glastonbury in June and Latitude Festival on the BBC Sounds Stage in July.

The tour dates will be in support of her 2020 album Punisher, which was released during lockdown, so fans will finally get the chance to hear the songs live.

This includes the Grammy-nominated “Kyoto” for Best Rock Song and Best Rock Performance, “ICU” and “I Know the End”.

The album received acclaim from critics and was listed as one of the albums of the year by a number of major music publications.

This will mark her first European dates in support of the album, after she headlined the US Reunion Tour, with support from queer pop group Muna.

More recently she appeared on Taylor Swift’s Red (Taylor’s Version) on the track “Nothing New”, which was originally written in 2012.

Bridgers discussed how the collaboration came about in an interview with Billboard, saying that she received a text from Aaron Dessner who regularly collaborates with Swift.

“I got this random text from Aaron Dessner that was really weirdly worded for him. And I was like, ‘What the f**k is this?’ And as I was reading it, I [realised], ‘Oh my God, it’s from Taylor Swift,'” she said.

“We started texting about all kinds of stuff. It was just a total high,” she adds, “it felt like when you meet someone at a party and you’re in the corner all night being like, ‘Me too!’ I’m excited for when we hang out for the first time.”
