BBC Radio 6 Music Festival 2022: how to get tickets, prices, the full lineup and more

Little Simz and Mykki Blanco are among the artists on the 6 Music Festival 2022 lineup.

BBC Radio 6 Music Festival is returning for 2022 with a huge lineup – and tickets go on sale soon.

The annual event will take place across Cardiff this year, with performances between 1-3 April.

Tickets for the festival will be available from 10am on 17 February via Ticketmaster.

The lineup will feature sets from the likes of Little Simz, Mykki Blanco, Self Esteem, Wet Leg and IDLES.

Little Simz recently had a triumphant night at the BRIT Awards with her performance of “Introvert” and “Woman” being named “one of the best” in years by viewers.

She was joined by The Crown‘s Emma Corrin for it and went on to win the award for Best New Artist, which saw her deliver a moving speech.

The 6 Music Festival will take place in venues across the city, including St David’s Hall, Tramshed, Y Plas and The Great Hall.

There will be daytime and evening events, as well as club nights with DJ sets from Craig Charles, Jamz Supernova and Nemone.

The lineup was announced by Mary Anne and Huw Stephens on 6 Music, with the former saying: “Lockdowns have kept us apart since 2020, so this year’s gigs in Cardiff are going to feel super-charged.”

“The most exciting element about the 6 Music Festival is the coming together, in a physical space, of our beloved 6 Music listeners and the staff at the station, with artists we love,” she added.

How to get 6 Music Festival tickets

Tickets for the festival will go on sale at 10am on 17 February via Ticketmaster here.

Prices and booking fees vary for each event, you can check the venue information pages for full details on the 6 Music website.

Festival goers can purchase a maximum of four tickets per event. The official 6 Music social media pages will post regular updates to alert fans when tickets sell out.
