Feehily was recently revealed to be the RoboBunny character on series three of The Masked Singer.

During his time on the show he performed renditions of Whitney Houston’s “Saving All My Love For You” and Lady Gaga’s “Shallow”.

The singer reached the finale of the show, which saw him duet with previous winner Nicola Roberts, before placing third behind Charlotte Church and Natalie Imbruglia.

Last year Feehily opened up about the “guilt” he felt while in the closet, that eventually festered into “internalised homophobia”.

During an interview on the When I Was 25 podcast, he said that undergoing therapy made him realise he was homophobic.

He told host Vinny Hurrell: “There was a eureka moment where she [the therapist] told me: ‘Do you realise that you’re actually homophobic?’

“I was like: ‘What? How dare you. I’m homophobic? I’m gay, how can I be homophobic?’.”

“I thought: ‘That’s the last straw. I’m not homophobic’. If I really wanted to change that, I needed to come out,” he added.

The singer came out to family and friends in 2003 and his bandmates in 2004, before coming out publicly during an interview with British tabloid The Sun when he was 25.
