Drag Race’s Bosco comes out as trans and says she’s the ‘happiest I’ve ever been’

Drag Race queen Bosco comes out as trans

Drag Race sensation Bosco has come out as trans and detailed their ongoing journey in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The 28-year-old, who found fame on season 14 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, referred to competitor Maddy Morphosis, telling followers: “I’m straight too.”

Bosco confirmed their pronouns are “she/they” while opening up about their gender identity.

“I’m by default a very private person but it would feel silly to not talk about this while I have this platform,” she began.

“After filming [on Drag Race] wrapped this summer, I began focusing on figuring out what medical transitioning would look like for me.”

Bosco explained that they had begun hormone therapy replacement after the show, and plans “to start exploring some surgical options in the near future”.

“This is something that’s been on my mind for over a decade now,” she continued. “I’ve spent my adult life working in the food industry and have never felt financially secure enough to start this process.”

Bosco added that she was “honestly… also just flat out terrified of how I’d be treated. I still am”.

“I’m now in a place where I’m surrounded by love and support,” they said. “Love from my heaven sent boyfriend, stunning peers, and incredible friends.”

The drag queen concluded: “I’m not quite where I want to be yet, but I’m starting to see her peek through more and more.

“I’m trans, my pronouns out of drag are she/they. I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Love, Bosco and her AAA sized titties.”

Several of Bosco’s fellow Drag Race contestants shared messages of support in the comments. Orion Story wrote: “I’m so proud of you love! You’re such a beautiful soul!!!”

Jorgeous added: “Happy For You My Angel !!! So Excited For You.”

Bosco is joined by fellow trans queens Kornbread “The Snack” Jeté and Kerri Colby in the season 14 cast.
