Drag Race legend BenDeLaCreme has announced a headline tour for 2022.

The icon will perform her biggest solo shows ever as part of the BenDeLaCreme is… Ready To Be Committed Tour.

Written, produced and starring the drag queen, the tour will kick off on 13 April and run until 10 July.

The one-queen extravaganza will feature burlesque, comedy and original music alongside her signature “terminally delightful” charm, which helped her become a Drag Race fan favourite.

Talking about the tour, the Drag Race star says: “After two long years of postponements I’m over-freaking-joyed to be bringing my new solo show back on the road.”

“It’s the story of one queen who searches for love and finds a whole lot she never bargained for – bitchy brides, pervy Grindr guys, corpse-eating cats, song, dance, and more puppets than you ever thought you’d see at a wedding,” she adds.

DeLa originally appeared on the sixth season of Drag Race before returning for All Stars 3, which saw her become one of the only queens to win Snatch Game twice.

She infamously chose to eliminate herself from the competition and was dubbed ‘BenDeLaChrist’ by fans of the show.

This upcoming tour was originally set to take place in 2020, after sold out shows in New York, but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The tour will now see her perform in bigger venues including mini residencies in San Francisco, Los Angeles and her hometown of Seattle.

It’s also been confirmed that UK tour dates will be “announced shortly”, so watch this space.
