Jonathan Van Ness has announced extra UK dates alongside London in February 2022

Jonathan Van Ness is heading to the UK in 2022 for a headline tour – and we’re struggs to func right now.

The Queer Eye star will bring their brand new show to venues across the UK in this February.

JVN postponed their London Palladium show “due to a scheduling conflict”, which will now take place in February 2022.

This will coincide with the newly announced, extra Jonathan Van Ness tour dates in Manchester, Glasgow and Brighton next year.

Entitled Imaginary Living Room Olympian, the show is inspired by JVN’s passions for gymnastics and figure skating, which regularly feature on their Instagram feed.

These passions will be combined with stand-up comedy, Queer Eye tidbits and of course, some inspirational mantras from the hair guru themself.

JVN became a breakout star of Netflix’s Queer Eye alongside Antoni Porowski, Karamo Brown, Tan France and Bobby Berk.

Since the show launched, JVN revealed in an interview with The New York Times that they were living with HIV.

“When Queer Eye came out, it was really difficult because I was like ‘Do I want to talk about my status?'” they said at the time.

“And then I was like, The Trump administration has done everything they can do to have the stigmatisation of the LGBT community thrive around me.'”

JVN has become an advocate for better understanding of HIV, speaking out on a number of occasions about the lifesaving power of antiretroviral medication, which stops people with HIV from developing AIDS.

They’ve also released a best-selling book, Over The Top: A Raw Journey To Self-Love and host the popular podcast Getting Curious, a weekly exploration of all the things they’re curious about.
