The Nightmare Before Christmas is being screened live in concert at Wembley Arena in 2022– and it sounds magical.

The festive classic from Tim Burton will be showcased alongside a live orchestra on 9-10 December.

Fans will be able to get their hands on tickets to the concert on 29 October from Ticketmaster.

The show will feature Danny Elfman, who composed the score for The Nightmare Before Christmas and voiced its main character, Jack Skellington.

Elfman will be joined by “very special guests and the BBC Concert Orchestra” who will perform songs from the film.

Fans can expect to hear the likes of “This Is Halloween”, “What’s This?” and “Oogie Boogie’s Song” from the beloved soundtrack.

Released in 1993, the film follows Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King of Halloween Town who stumbles upon a portal to Christmas Town and decides he wants to host Christmas.

It’s become a cult favourite that fans watch every Halloween and Christmas to get into the festive spirit.

More recently a Nightmare Before Christmas advent calendar was released, which features 24 collectible figures of characters from the film.

The live concert show previously took place in 2019, and was expected to take over Wembley Arena again in 2020, but this was cancelled due to the pandemic.

Unfortunately the latest concert series won’t take place until 2022, but at least you can get your festive calendar looking busy.
