An official RuPaul’s Drag Race UK book is being released because reading is what? Fundamental!

Ahead of the premiere of series three of Drag Race UK fans can get their hands on the behind-the-scenes collectible.

Ever the mogul, RuPaul is releasing the book which lets fans “discover the secrets of the Werkroom and get all the gossip backstage”.

It’s due for release on 21 October and it’s now available to pre-order from Amazon.

The Drag Race UK book will feature exclusive interviews with the queens of series three including Victoria Scone, Charity Kase and Choriza May.

Fans can also re-live the most iconic moments of the series so far with stories from the queens of seasons one and two.

There’s also play-along games, secrets – including learning the skills to deliver a killer Snatch Game performance – and trivia.

The book is available on hardback for £11.95 or Kindle for £9.99 and you can get it from Amazon.

It follows up the announcement that series two winner Lawrence Chaney and runner-up Bimini Bon Boulash will both release a book.

Lawrence will drop the Drag Queen of Scots on 23 September which sees her discuss “the dos and don’ts of a drag superstar”.

While Bimini’s book, Release the Beast will explore identity politics, gender, sexuality, fashion and “obviously the patriarchy.”

Drag Race UK series three premieres this month

Drag Race UK returns to our screens this month with 12 new queens competing for a place in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.

The show will premiere on 23 September on BBC iPlayer in the UK and WOW Presents Plus across the globe.

It will see Victoria Scone make herstory as the first cisgender woman drag artist to compete on the Drag Race franchise.

BBC Three have confirmed a star-studded guest judge lineup including Kathy Burke, Nicola Coughlan, Emma Bunton, Russell Tovey and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Other special guests include meme queen and manager Charity Shop Sue, Steps, Nadine Coyle and actual Elton John.
