Little Mix’s Jade Thirlwall reading Noel Gallagher to absolute filth should be hung in the Louvre

Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall speaking about Noel Gallagher on Never Mind The Buzzcocks

Jade Thirlwall absolutely eviscerated Noel Gallagher on Never Mind The Buzzcocks over his derogatory comments about Little Mix – and her response belongs in a museum.

Thirlwall casually tore Gallagher to pieces over his suggestion that Little Mix didn’t deserve to win the Best British Group Brit Award.

Speaking to The Sun after Little Mix made history with their groundbreaking victory, Noel Gallagher said: “Little Mix, with the greatest respect, are not in the same league as Oasis. Not even in the same f**king sport.

“It’s a symptom of the music business chasing numbers – and there not being any bands or songwriters in those bands,” he added.

Thirlwall wasn’t prepared to let Gallagher away with his comments during an appearance on Sky’s rebooted Never Mind The Buzzcocks. When asked about the incident, she told her fellow panellists that it was “a real shame because as you know I’m a big fan of high flying birds s**ting on us.”

When asked by host Greg Davies exactly what Gallagher said, Thirlwall replied: “Something about that we were undeserving of the Brit award because we’re women, we don’t – well, we do write music but he thinks we don’t write music.”

She added: “Yeah, it’s a shame really, because you know, we are definitely the most successful girl group in the country but he’s not even the most successful performer in his family, so…”

Thirlwall’s takedown left her fellow Never Mind The Buzzcocks panellists in stitches, with Davies shouting into the camera: “Take that Gallagher!”

It wasn’t long before the clip found its way onto social media. It has since gone viral on TikTok, and Little Mix’s legion of dedicated fans have rushed forward to share their joy at Thirlwall’s incredible moment in the spotlight.

Little Mix made history in May when they became the first ever girl group to win the Best British Group award at the Brit Awards.

Speaking on stage, Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Thirlwall paid tribute to the girl groups of yesteryear, such as the Spice Girls and All Saints, who somehow never won the big award.

Shortly afterwards, Noel Gallagher decided to weigh in, claiming that Oasis is somehow in a different league to Little Mix – prompting sensible people everywhere to roll their eyes in frustration.
