Bimini Bon Boulash walks the runway at the Richard Quinn SS22 show

Bimini Bon Boulash flexed their fashion icon credentials once more with a stellar appearance at London Fashion Week.

The Drag Race UK legend walked in Richard Quinn’s spring 2022 show, with none other than Kate Moss in attendance.

Bimini shared a clip of the show, in which they swapped their trademark mullet for a column-like, slicked-down fringe while modelling a billowing purple dress over electric yellow, thigh-high platforms.

The video zoomed in at the end to show Moss smiling radiantly in Bimini’s direction and bobbing her head to the music at the show.

They said they were “pinching myself” when they realised they were walked “in front of the absolute icon Kate Moss”.

“What an absolute moment in my life,” Bimini Bon Boulash wrote. “I can’t believe how amazing these past few days of fashion week has been.”

In a separate post on Instagram, Bimini opened up about what being a part of London Fashion Week meant to them.

“A little queer kid who never thought they’d get an opportunity to do things like this is walking in Fashion week,” Bimini wrote. “I’ve had the most amazing time, and I feel like all my dreams are coming true.”

Bimini Bon Boulash has stormed the fashion world since appearing on Drag Race UK. They signed with industry giant Next Model Management in March.

Bimini admitted on social media that they never thought they would have signed with such a top agency “in my wildest dreams”.

“This is huge for non-binary representation in fashion and I’m so thankful that Next want to take this chance with me,” Bimini added at the time.

Bimini competed in season two of Drag Race UK, coming runner-up to Lawrence Chaney. The hit show returns this week with a fresh batch of queens, and a brand new crown to be won.
