The bisexual singer-songwriter recently released “I’m Sorry”, marking the first track to be lifted from his forthcoming album.

The track was written in 2013 with Justin Parker and it marked the first song he ever wrote with another musician.

“Ever since then It has been patiently waiting for the right time to have its moment. Through a surprising gathering of threads, that moment is now.

“It was always a special song. It’s about owning your share of f**kery in a broken relationship. Sometimes we just don’t get things right, and sometimes, when there’s nothing left, or too much left, to say, all we can do is say ‘I’m sorry’ and let the rest go,” he says.

Discussing the album further on Twitter the singer, who is known for his emotionally charged tracks, promised that there’s only one ballad on the upcoming LP.

This September and October the singer is in the UK supporting Paloma Faith on her theatre tour across the country.

While tickets for his solo tour go on general sale at 10am on 17 September via ticketmaster.co.uk and seetickets.com.
