Drag Race UK season three is hurtling towards screens with a frankly overwhelmig number of special celebrity guests.

Last week, it was Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Emma Bunton and Alesha Dixon. Before that, it was Steps and Charity Shop Sue. Rumours are abound that actual Elton John will be making an appearance.

Yes, Drag Race UK season three is going above and beyond serving us camp icons and genuine, bonafide stars. Now, with just over a week to go until the season airs, we’ve got two more.

Nadine Coyle of Girls Aloud fame and omnipresent but still hilarious comedian Judi Love will join RuPaul for the Snatch Game.

Nadine said it was “great to be part of the show. I met my long time love Ru and I got to see the new seasons queens up close”.

Judi said: “I loved that the contestants were so engaging and just being their fabulous selves.”

Also announced for this season are Matt Lucas, who’ll judge the premiere episode, Kathy Burke and Oti Mabuse.

Season three kicks off on Thursday, 23 September, at 7pm on iPlayer.

Nadine Coyle pays tribute to Sarah Harding

Nadine’s spot on Drag Race UK comes at a sad time for the star.

On 5 September, her Girls Aloud bandmate Sarah Harding passed away after a battle with cancer. She was just 39.

Announcing her death, Sarah’s mother wrote: ““I know she won’t want to be remembered for her fight against this terrible disease – she was a bright shining star and I hope that’s how she can be remembered instead.”

A week after her death, Nadine posted a series of pictures of herself and Sarah to Instagram, writing: “One week without ayou!

“Thinking of you all day everyday & trying to imagine how your new journey is going.

“Please feel free to come visit me anytime. I know lots of people will want some Sarah spirit time so I can wait my turn. I hope you now know how much you are loved & how you impacted so many lives by being wholeheartedly yourself. Always an inspiration, always a shining light & always my friend.”
