Dita Von Teese is bringing her iconic burlesque show to screens for the first time ever.
The cinematic special is entitled Night Of The Teese and will star the queen of burlesque alongside a diverse set of performers.
It’s being released worldwide on 1 October and fans can get their hands on live stream tickets from universe.com.
The film will include trans burlesque star Cassandra Cass, Drag Race’s Valentina, hula hoop master Marawa and actor Zita Vass, who makes her burlesque debut.
It will also feature performances from burlesque regulars Dirty Martini, Perle Noire, Jett Adore and Frankie Fictitious alongside Dita’s backup dancer Vontourage.
After being able to perform again following months of lockdown, Dita says: “It’s been 18 months since we last performed, and I’m thrilled to share this historic, immersive moment and have everyone around the world experience the beauty, talent and diversity of the burlesque community.”
She adds: “There’s nothing quite like the experience of a live performance, so I’m often apprehensive about filming the show.
“But with director Quinn Wilson’s enthusiasm for burlesque she truly captures the thrill of a live event, shining her distinctive, dazzling spotlight on each of the performers.”
Director Wilson says on Instagram that “Dita is a legend and as the best legends do, she created a stage for not only herself but the immense and powerful talent within the burlesque community.”

In 2022 the star will also tour across the UK and Europe with her brand new Glamonatrix show.
Fans can expect something that’s “far from a typical burlesque show, as Dita elevates and modernises the classic 1940s variety show.”
It will feature an inclusive and diverse cast including male, female and gender-fluid performers from around the world, in a celebration of body diversity.

Fans can now get their hands on tickets from universe.com. The show will premiere on 1 October across the globe and you’ll then be able to stream it as many times as you like for 48 hours between 2-3 October.
