“I haven’t met her new baby but if she’s reading this God bless you and thank you for all your kind words 🌹🌹🌹 !!!!
“Psss, although the name of the song is ‘Pretty Girls’ I think the concept is more like revenge of the NERDS 😂🤓 !!!!”
Azalea, who has previously backed the Free Britney movement and sounded off against the singer’s father, Jamie Spears, once again showed her support for the star in the wake of news that Jamie has filed to end the conservatorship for good.
Azalea commented: “I absolutely adore you more than words (and I still have the barbies you gave me 🥲💕).”
“Loving you always you brilliant, too-genius-for this-world-to-understand, kind-hearted, gracious & beautifully ethereal being.
“We are definitely two big ole goofballs in the best way possible 😆😝”
Iggy Azalea says it is ‘basic human decency’ to free Britney Spears
Iggy Azalea previously came out swinging for Britney Spears in July after she delivered an incendiary testimony to the court over her conservatorship.
“I’ve told the world I’m happy and OK, I lied,” Spears said, telling the court that the arrangement that controls her financial and personal wellbeing is “abusive” and comparing it to “sex trafficking”.
Azalea subsequently wrote on Twitter: “Its [sic] basic human decency to at the very least remove a person Britney has identified as abusive from her life.
“This should be illegal. During the time we worked together in 2015, I personally witnessed the same behaviour Britney detailed in regards to her father last week and I just want to back her up and tell the world that: She is not exaggerating or lying.”
On Tuesday (7 September), Jamie Spears’ legal counsel, Vivian Lee Thoreen, filed paperwork that signalled her client’s support to terminate the conservatorship.
“[Britney] Spears has told this court that she wants control of her life back without the safety rails of a conservatorship,” she wrote.
“If Ms Spears wants to terminate the conservatorship and believes that she can handle her own life, Mr Spears believes that she should get that chance.”
