Lil Nas X reveals unbelievable tracklist for Montero and the world is simply not ready for it

Lil Nas X has launched the next step in his plan for total music domination – he is a power bottom after all – by unveiling the star-studded Montero tracklist.
Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus, Elton John and Megan Thee Stallion are among the new characters joining the Montero Cinematic Universe, with the album dropping 17 September.
The Grammy-winning rapper took to Twitter to share the long-awaited artist lineup for Montero with a video of a computer-animated Nas falling from the heavens: the gods themselves delivering our musical saviour.

Lil Nas X confirms Elton John, Megan Thee Stallion and more are joining him on Montero
In the teaser clip, as a naked Nas plummets down he is briefly suspended in mid-air surrounded by a rainbow-coloured ring of light, butterflies and Y2K-grade pink trees.
Among the absolutely jaw-dropping collabs confirmed for his first full-length studio album: “Scoop [ft. Doja Cat]”, “One of Me [ft. Elton John]”, “Dolla Sign Slime [ft. Megan Thee Stallion]” and “Am I Dreaming [ft. Miley Cyrus]”.
The tracks come alongside the ones we already know and have almost religiously re-listened to over the last few months, including “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)“, “Industry Baby” and “Sun Goes Down”.
They all come on the heels of the runaway TikTok-fuelled success of 2019’s “Old Town Road“, which kickstarted the gay cowboy agenda.
With only weeks until Montero finally drops, to say his more than 6.8 million followers were excited about would be the understatement of, well, all of human history.

Montero, Lil Nas X told Variety, will be “much more personal” and “cohesive” than his 2019 EP, 7.
And putting together the album was a soothing process for the singer, known off-stage as Montero Hill. He compared making Montero to “therapy” in a tweet last month and revealed he discovered a lot about himself while working on it.
