Carole Baskin has revealed that she has sold Joe Exotic’s former private zoo, and has written a very specific condition into the deed.

Exotic, the notorious star of Tiger King who is currently serving a 17-year prison sentence for a host of animal abuses and plotting to murder animal rights activist Baskin, used the animal park for breeding a large collection of tigers, lions and other big cats.

In June, 2020, he was ordered to hand over his Oklahoma private zoo, Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park, to Baskin in place of the $1 million he owed her following a copyright lawsuit.

Now, Baskin has confirmed that she sold the property in June, 2021, under the condition that it never be used as a zoo again.

Additionally, her husband Howard Baskin told Yahoo News that according to the deed, the property can never be associated with Tiger King.

He said: “If it became an RV park or storage unit, We don’t want it named the Tiger King RV Park.

“We would like the 20 years of mistreatment of animals there to be forgotten and be history.”

Joe Exotic, convicted of plotting have Carole Baskin murdered, recently had his sentence reduced

Last month, a federal appeals court ruled that Joe Exotic’s prison term for his role in plotting to kill arch nemesis Carole Baskin should be reduced.

Exotic was found guilty of hiring two different men to kill Baskin, the bisexual owner of Big Cat Rescue, and was also convicted on eight counts of violating the Lacey Act for falsifying wildlife records and nine counts of violating the Endangered Species Act.

When he was initially sentenced to 22 years in prison in January, 2020, the trial court treated the two hitmen Exotic hired to kill Baskin as separate incidents when calculating his sentence.

But the appeals court has now said they should be considered one conviction, as both incidents had the same goal – murdering Baskin.

The appeals court ordered that Exotic be re-sentenced to 17 and a half years, but even with the reduced prison term, he will still be in his seventies when he is released.
