Lady Gaga finally confirms ‘Dawn of Chromatica’ remix album with Charli XCX, Rina Sawayama collabs
Lady Gaga has finally confirmed that she is releasing a Chromatica remix album with Rina Sawayama and Charli XCX collaborations, and we couldn’t be more excited.
Each of Chromatica‘s original tracks is due to get the remix treatment, with pop pioneer Rina Sawayama appearing on “Free Woman” and Charli XCX lending her talents to “911”.
The album – which will be released on Friday (3 September) – will also feature queer talent such as Dorian Electra, Pabllo Vittar, Chester Lockhart, and countless other bonafide icons.

Needless to say, fans absolutely lost it following the singer’s casual announcement.

Fans have been begging the singer to give Chromatica the remix treatment after the album – full of club-worthy songs – landed right at the start of the pandemic.
The result was that Lady Gaga’s legion of queer fans were prevented from experiencing the transition from “Chromatica II” into “911” in a gay club.
As part of her never-ending efforts to keep the gays entertained, Lady Gaga finally relented and put the remix album together with help from her Chromatica collaborator BloodPop.
Lady Gaga collaborators have been dropping hints about a Chromatica remix album for months
BloodPop first started teasing the remix album in April when he asked Gaga’s Little Monsters which artists they would like to see on a potential record.
The producer hinted at the time that both Rina Sawayama and Charli XCX could appear on the project.
The announcement comes at the end of a busy few months for Lady Gaga. At the beginning of the year, she travelled to Italy to shoot her new film House of Gucci alongside Adam Driver.
While there, her dogs were stolen and her dog walker shot in a shocking incident in Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga recently completed work on her next album – recorded with legendary singer Tony Bennett – and released the debut single, “I Get A Kick Out Of You”.
It is expected that the album will mark Bennett’s last professional outing after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease.
