RuPaul reads anti-maskers to filth in epic monologue: ‘Shut the f**k up, b***h!’

RuPaul has had it with anti-maskers and “unruly” airplane passengers – officially.
The legendary Drag Race star filled in for Jimmy Kimmel on his late night talk show Wednesday (25 August), where she offered a few thoughts on the Federal Aviation Administration’s (FAA) announcement discouraging bad behaviour on aircrafts with the slogan: “Unruly behaviour doesn’t fly.”
“I just felt it needed to be a little more direct, something like — ‘Be cool or we will kick you in your cockpit’,” RuPaul said. “I’m for real. People need to be told, you know.”
Because it’s “getting serious out there”, RuPaul said he had some “rules for the unruly”. So anyone who plans to take a flight in the US better listen up.
Rule number one was that passengers should “never have more drinks than there are flight attendants on the plane”. OK, we can get on board with that one.
RuPaul’s next rule was also a banger and would stop so many awkward mid-flight soul-searching conversations with strangers. He told air travellers to “keep your carry-on luggage in the overhead compartment and keep your emotional baggage to your damn self”.
And then, the Drag Race host read any anti-masker who dared to travel by plane to absolute filth.
“If you don’t own the plane, you don’t make the rules,” RuPaul declared. “That’s right. So put your mask on, watch the Boss Baby and shut the f**k up, b***h!”
Ru’s in-flight safety rules were met with thunderous applause and cheers from the Jimmy Kimmel Live audience (and let’s be real, all of us at home).
Air travel in the US has been downright terrifying in the past year.
New FAA numbers released Tuesday (24 August) showed there have been 3,988 reports of unruly passengers since the start of 2021. This is a huge uptick from the 146 total reports received in 2019, according to the Washington Post.

The FAA also reported there had been 2,928 reports of passengers refusing to wear a face mask while on flights since 1 January.
Just last month, a passenger on a flight bound for DFW International Airport was removed from the plane after she erupted into an unhinged homophobic tirade about LGBT+ people and Disney in front of children.
A video captured the moment a woman with her mask dangling on her chin decided to argue with fellow passengers. The video, which is of two screen recordings of Snapchat footage, showed her shout “f***ing f****ts” and ranting about Disney.
It was the latest in a long line of now-viral incidents on planes.
In July, American Airlines cabin crew duct-taped a woman to her seat after she tried to open the plane’s doors mid-flight.
Duct tape was also deployed on a Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami. According to NPR, the flight crew taped a man to his seat after he groped two attendants and got into a physical altercation with another.
The man, Maxwell Berry, 22, was arrested and charged with three counts of battery, NPR reported.
