Lil Nas X drops epic ‘power bottom’ video ahead of ‘therapeutic’ album

Lil Nas X blessed fans with a “power bottom” trailer for his forthcoming album, Montero.
The Grammy-winner took shared the good news that his debut album is due on 17 September in peak Lil Nas X fashion.
A trailer for the release sees Lil Nas X as a blonde-haired, electric blue-eyed television reporter for the MNN broadcasting service.
He announced that “power bottom rapper” Nas and “his Caucasian friend” Jack Harlow – who were prisoners in the “Industry Baby” music video – escaped and are on the run.
“This comes just months after the talentless homosexual was sentenced to five years in prison,” Nas reported. “Investigators say that anybody that comes into contact with the power bottom should contact authorities. Immediately.”
The trailer then cut to the now-free prisoner Lil Nas X riding down an old town road as a new track played.
“Need a boy who can cuddle with me all night,” Nas sings in the song. “Keep me warm, love me long, give me sunlight/Tell me lies, we can argue, we can fight, yeah we did it before but we’ll do it tonight.”

The album presumably will feature Nas’ singles “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, “Sun Goes Down” and “Industry Baby”.
Lil Nas X wrote on Twitter that creating Montero “has been therapy for me”, and he’s discovered a lot about himself while working on the album.
“I’ve learned to let go of trying to control people’s perception of who I am, what I can do, and where I will be,” Nas wrote on Twitter. “I’ve realized the only opinion of me that really matters is my own.”

It comes after Nas opened up about his “effortless” new relationship with his mystery boyfriend. The singer recently revealed he’s dating someone new, and he’s assured fans that he’s “really happy” with his partner.
In a cover story interview for VMAN, he said that the now-couple met just before he was “about to do the SNL thing” but only started dating “maybe two weeks ago”.
“I feel like this is one of the best [relationships] yet,” Nas revealed. “I’m really happy about it, and it all just feels natural. It’s effortless.”
