Cardi B revealed her second pregnancy in a surprise live performance at the BET Awards with Migos.

Performing Migos’ hit tracks “Straightenin'” and “Type S***t, Cardi B stormed the stage in a sparkly black unitard with a mesh panel on the stomach, showing off her baby bump.

She confirmed the news in a Twitter post later, tagging her husband Offset in the tweet.

Cardi also announced her first pregnancy on live television, in an appearance on Saturday Night Live. She and Offset welcomed their first child Kulture in 2018.

Fans were quick to praise her jaw-dropping pregnancy reveal.

Cardi B was nominated for five BET Awards: Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, Best Collaboration, Viewer’s Choice Award and two nominations for Video of the Year. Three of the nominations were for “WAP”, her internet-breaking track with Megan Thee Stallion.

She took home two awards on the night: Best Collaboration and Video of the Year, both for “WAP”.

Elsewhere during Sunday night’s (27 June) ceremony, Lil Nas X also delivered a fiery performance of “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, where he kissed one of his dancers.

Cardi B has previously opened up about her own sexuality after she, along with Rita Ora, Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha, were accused of appropriating queerness on their collaboration, “Girls”.

At the time, Cardi defended the collaboration, saying: “I personally myself had experiences with other woman… with a lot of women! I thought the song was a good song and I remember my experience.”

Cardi previously defended her husband after he, along with his group Migos, came under fire for what appeared to be a homophobic song lyric.

Offset rapped in the song: “I cannot vibe with queers”. Cardi insisted that she’d “seen him… around gays, and he treats them with the same respect he treats everybody.”
