LGBT+ ally YouTuber shows Minecraft players how to make their very own Pride flags

Minecraft Pride flags

It’s possible to create pretty much anything in Minecraft, so why not show off this Pride season and all year round with Minecraft Pride flags?

A YouTuber called ReytGood has created a brilliant video guide that takes players through the steps they need to create banners based on the main Pride flags, using wool, dye and sticks.

Once you get your head around the process of colours and patterns at the loom, it should be simple enough to add them to your own game.

How to make Minecraft Pride flags

To create the Minecraft Pride flags you’ll need to create banners of wool and dye them the necessary colours using various patterns. You’ll need access to a crafting table and a loom, plus the following:

Sticks

Coloured wool

Coloured dye

Gay Pride Flag

Firstly make a lime green banner out of one stick and six pieces of green wool at the crafting table. Then, at the loom, use the patterns to make the top half yellow, then the top third orange, the bottom third blue, the top border red and the bottom border magenta.

Trans Flag

Make a white banner from one stick and six pieces of white wool. At the loom, select the right hand stripe pattern and dye it pink; then do the same with the left hand stripe pattern to make pink-white-pink. Finally, use the border pattern to dye the outside blue.

Bisexual Flag

This time, make a purple banner from one stick and six pieces of purple wool. Then dye the left stripe blue and the right stripe pink to complete the flag.

Pansexual Flag

This works very similarly to the bisexual flag. Firstly make a yellow banner from one stick and six pieces of yellow wool. Then use the left hand stripe pattern to dye light blue and the right hand stripe pattern to dye pink.

Non-Binary Flag

This one begins with a white banner of one stick and six pieces of white wool. Then turn the right side grey with dye, the right hand stripe black and the left hand stripe purple.

Lesbian Flag

This begins, once again, with a white banner of one stick and six white wool. Then turn the left side pink, the left stripe magenta, the right stripe orange, and the border pattern red.

Asexual Flag

Once more, create a white banner of one stick and six white wool. Then use dye to turn the left side purple, the left stripe black, and the right stripe yellow.
