Far-right host blames COVID newsroom outbreak on ‘demonic attack’ after hosting ‘Satan’s favourite sodomite’ Milo Yiannopoulos

A far-right host has blamed a COVID-19 newsroom outbreak on a “demonic attack” after hosting Milo Yiannopoulos.

Yiannopoulos, a far-right pundit and former Breitbart editor, helmed Christian news website TruNews last Wednesday (2 June), during which he discussed how he viewed dogs no longer barking at him as a sign from God to become “ex-gay”.

Yup, you really did read that right. He really did say that.

Lauren Witzke, a former Republican Senate candidate and TruNews guest host, revealed on Monday (7 June) that TruNews staffers all became “deathly ill” with the coronavirus after having Yiannopoulos on.

The reason? To Witzke, a far-right conspiracy theorist, QAnon supporter and self-described flat Earther who once called trans folk “demonic“, it was because God “retaliated” against TruNews.

“I don’t think it’s any coincidence that the TruNews crew all got deathly ill, got very sick, right after they brought Milo on,” the 33-year-old said.

“We have to remember that this is a spiritual battle,” she continued, “and our enemy retaliates.

“What this is, I believe, is a retaliation. We constantly battle demonic spirits, demonic attacks on ourselves.

“And we, as Christians, must stay equipped but also we must also stay prayerful as we walk into these times. We’re the enemy and it seems like he has the upper hand.

“But it was no coincidence that [host Rick Wiles] and his crew are in the situation that they’re in because they stood for Christ and had the spine to bring Milo on and share his platform and his testimony.

Witzke, after appearing to say that God punished the newsroom for having Yiannopoulos on, then said that Christ has welcomed Yiannopoulos back with open arms since he declared he’s 100 per cent “sodomy free” earlier this year.

“Milo was somebody who belonged to the darkness,” Witzke said.

“He was already Satan’s favourite sodomite, wasn’t he? We took him back, Christ took him back.”

The camera then cuts back to reveal that, well, Milo Yiannopoulos was only centimetres away from her during her speech – he was co-hosting TruNews again with Witzke.

The pair have been co-hosting TruNews since veteran host Rick Wiles, who once claimed that the coronavirus vaccine is being used to commit a “genocide”, was hospitalised with COVID-19.
