PlayStation has announced plans to bring Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End to PC

Following in the footsteps of Horizon Zero Dawn, Sony has earmarked Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End as another upcoming PC port.

At Sony’s Investor Relations Day on 26 May, a presentation revealed that Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will be heading to PC joining other PlayStation titles and properties that have already been launched.

Appearing on a slide in the presentation named “More PC releases planned”, the popular action-adventure game sees Nathan Drake, a former treasure hunter, search for clues for the location of Henry Avery’s long-lost treasure as he reunites with his long-lost brother, Samuel attempting to save him from a ruthless tyrant.

Back in February, Sony announced Days Gone as one of the first PlayStation exclusives launching on PC when Sony Interactive CEO Jim Ryan has confirmed that there will be a host of PlayStation exclusives released on PC, sharing the news in an interview with British GQ. When rumours started to circulate about other titles including Bloodborne and Gran Turismo being released, a representative at Sony denied the claims.

Formerly exclusive third-party PlayStation titles like Beyond: Two Souls, Detroit: Become Human and Death Stranding have also seen PC ports in recent years.

“Sony intends to continue investing in or partnering with external studios in addition to investing in its in-house studios to enhance its software offering” the presentation stated – causing speculation surrounding Sony possible gearing up to rival Microsoft.

Other PlayStation exclusives listed in the presentation included Final Fantasy XVI and Demon’s Souls under the “also available on PC” slide during the PlayStation 5 launch event last year.
