Stop the clocks, cut off the telephone, because fans think the C*ck Destroyers have broken up

Update (7 May): The Cock Destroyers have confirmed that they have broken up.

The Cock Destroyers may have broken up, fans fear.

Since 2018, sex workers Rebecca More and Sophie Anderson have enthralled the LGBT+ community with their truly chaotic energy and brand of unapologetically raunchy humour.

But on Thursday morning (6 May), a cryptic pair of tweets from More sparked a wave of speculation that the Cock Destroyers have called it quits.

It all began when More tweeted that she has received a “[vicious] email from someone who I thought was a friend”.

“Showed it to my mum as I was questioning the things that have been said about me,” she said. “Genuinely sick to my stomach.”

More added: “Block and delete. Move on.”

Though there’s no indication as to who More was referring to, gas was thrown on the fire when fans noticed that the pair no longer follow each other.

And a subsequent tweet from Anderson lent weight to the theory that not all is well on planet Cock Destroyer.

Thousands of queer hearts shattered at the thought of the pair splitting.

Neither More and Anderson have responded publicly to the rumours – but Anderson did like a tweet Thursday morning that read: “So sad if it’s true about The Cock Destroyer splitting up.

“Does that mean there won’t be another season of Slag Wars!?”

The pair previously had a brief – and iconic – falling out on the set of their reality show, Slag Wars, but quickly smoothed things over.

The Cock Destroyers have over the years cemented themselves as the NSFW Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders.

They became breakout queer icons three years ago thanks to a 69-second-long clip in which More triumphantly declares: “Do you know what we are?

“We’re f**king cock destroyers.”

From a Netflix special on LGBT+ inclusive sex education to their own reality television competition series, Slag Wars: The Next Destroyer, the pair have been inseparable ever since as they soared to fame. They’ve toured top queer nightclubs and even been impersonated on Snatch Game.
