John Barrowman accused of ‘taking his d**k out every five seconds’ by Noel Clarke in resurfaced video

John Barrowman is accused of repeatedly exposing himself on the set of Doctor Who in a video that’s emerged following sexual assault allegations against Noel Clarke.

The video shows Noel Clarke and John Barrowman on the panel of Chicago TARDIS, an American science fiction convention, with former co-stars Camille Coduri and Annette Badland in 2015.

In an uncomfortably long anecdote, Clarke recalls how Barrowman would allegedly “take his d**k out every five seconds” and slap it on his colleagues.

Using his microphone, Clarke imitates Barrowman allegedly tapping his penis on both Coduri and Badland, who are sat next to him, for an extended amount of time. He talks about the alleged incidents for more than two minutes.

“You can’t help but laugh. Chris [Ecclestone] would be like, ‘I’m serious, I’m concentrating on my acting,'” Clarke said, using the microphone to simulate more penis tapping.

The actors appear to be discussing their time working on the Doctor Who season one episode “Boom Town”, which was filmed in February 2005.

At one stage Clarke asks Coduri: “Do you remember that time he put it on your shoulder in the makeup truck?” to which she responds: “Yes, I do.”

She then stops herself from continuing, but Clarke ramps up the awkwardness by acting out the scene on her shoulder with the microphone as a lewd prop.

As the conversation continues the moderator asks how John Barrowman got away with this behaviour. “Because he’s adorable,” Coduri says, jumping in to defend him.

Noel Clarke then cuts across her to say: “I think it’s because he is adorable and very light hearted and stuff, but also because he is a gay man.

“Am I lying? I feel like it’s non-threatening, do you know what I mean? All these straight guys are like, ‘Damn it!’ You can’t do that, you’re going to jail. But John Barrowman’s like, ‘Hey, come here! Hey!'”

Here Clark pretends to be Barrowman as he stands to rub his groin against Coduri’s shoulder.

The video quickly gained traction online amid the growing scandal surrounding Noel Clarke, who has been accused by 20 women of sexual harassment, groping, inappropriate comments, misconduct, bullying and taking and sharing inappropriate, explicit pictures and videos.

The actor has strenuously and categorically denied these claims, and says that he intends to defend himself.

Following the allegations being published by The Guardian, ITV has pulled the final episode of his most recent TV show, BAFTA has suspended both Clarke’s membership and a recent award bestowed on him, and Sky has suspended production of all projects involving the actor, writer and director.

Barrowman has previously been accused of indecently exposing himself: during a 2008 interview with Nick Grimshaw and Annie Mac, the actor undid his trousers after being goaded into it by the Radio 1 presenters.

Though only one complaint was received about the incident, the BBC issued an official apology saying the show had “overstepped the mark”.

Barrowman told The Guardian at the time: “I apologise for any offence I have caused. I was joining in the light-hearted and fun banter of the show and went too far. I was wrong to do this and it will never happen again.”
