Madonna’s daughter Lourdes Leon confirms Timothée Chalamet romance: ‘He was my first boyfriend’

Lourdes Leon has opened up about her teenage romance with Timothée Chalamet, who was her “first boyfriend”.

The model and dancer, whose mother is Madonna, met the Call Me By Your Name star when they were both students at the Fiorello H LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in Manhattan, she told Vanity Fair.

It wasn’t long before Lourdes Leon and Timothée Chalamet noticed each other. Soon afterwards, they started dating.

“I respect him a lot, we were a little item. My first boyfriend,” Leon said. “Or anything.”

Leon and Chalamet were first rumoured to be dating in 2013, with Page Six reporting at the time that Madonna was putting strict rules in place for their burgeoning relationship.

In typical Madonna style, the proud mother insisted that a bodyguard accompany Leon and her teenage crush when they went out to dinner. The singer later told Extra that Leon had a “very nice boyfriend”, but refused to name him.

Elsewhere in her Vanity Fair interview, Lourdes Leon opened up about what it was like to grow up under the watchful eye of one of pop music’s biggest icons.

Leon revealed that Madonna enrolled her in ballet classes when she was just three-years-old.

“My mom really went hard for that once she saw there was potential,” Leon said.

She also spoke about the lifetime of strange gifts her mother has received.

“She’s expecting something nice that she’ll actually use and she gets a leather horse condom and a bong shaped like a c**k and balls,” Leon sid.

“She doesn’t even smoke weed.”

The 24-year-old also opened up about her acting ambitions, saying she would love to play Mother Teresa in a film about her life.

On politics, Leon said he transferred to a competitive dance conservatory from the University of Michigan after she saw somebody wearing a MAGA hat on campus.
