Looking for something entertaining to watch on the internet? Well, we can highly recommend checking out Brie Larson teaching Tessa Thompson how to play Fortnite and leading her to her first Battle Royale victory.

Last night, fans of the MCU and Fortnite everywhere were geeking out as both Brie Larson and Tessa Thompson jumped online to play the game in an attempt to win a Battle Royale, with Larson wearing a snazzy Captain Marvel skin in a homage to her MCU character.

Brie teamed up with Tessa – who plays Valkyrie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe – and they fought their way to an impressive on-screen victory, covering everything from from building houses to shooting arrows in their session. They also take a stab at taming wolves.

The pair are also no strangers to collaborating together. Back in 2019 they broke Twitter when Brie asked Tessa during a panel event an innocent question about topping lesbians. Tessa previously came out as bisexual in 2018 and was rumoured to be dating pop star Janelle Monaé.

Brie Larson has teamed up with Epic Games to bring fans of the game her own Fortnite Locker bundle (which is available now in the Item Shop) containing a special version of the bushranger skin, a harvesting tool and more.

This isn’t the first time Brie has collaborated with a video game. Previously an ambassador for Nintendo, she made her first game video on her YouTube channel in July 2020 order to show fans her Animal Crossing Island. Last year, Fortnite made a bunch of Marvel skins that include Captain Marvel, Black Panther and Taskmaster.

Shortly after she announced her Locker Loadout, Larson tweeted at her fellow MCU star Tessa Thompson to see if she wanted to jump into a few more Fortnite matches.

The main highlight of Larson’s cosmetic bundle is the new(ish) outfit. In addition, the bundle includes the Freemix and Glitter emotes. The Loadout also adds the Buzzy Bag, beehive back bling, and the Honey Hitter harvesting tools, rounding out the bundle’s nature themes. All five of these items are available in the Fortnite store as part of the Brie Larson bundle and can be purchased for 2,000 V-bucks.

If you have Bushranger already – which if you play Fortnite you certainly should – you’ll get the new in-game style for free.
