Britney Spears said Monday (12 April) that she is more than “happy to share” with fans that are “concerned” about her life.

In a cryptic Instagram video, the 39-year-old spoke about her elusive project, “Touch of Rose”, that has seen the singer wear the same top at least 17 times on her social media.

But in wearing the same clothing and often uploading stock photographs of roses, conspiracy theories around her wellbeing have flowered.

Spears’ mental and physical wellbeing has been the source of speculation for years while she remains in a tightly-wound conservatorship managed mostly by her father, Jamie Spears.

But after already combustible concerns were sparked further earlier this year following the release of The New York Times Presents documentary Framing Britney Spears, the musician had a rather simple message.

“Happy to share especially with a world that is empathetic and concerned with my life … what can I say I’m FLATTERED ??‍♀️ !!!” she wrote in the caption.

“Here’s to another beautiful summer of popsicles and sunbathing.”

The post came alongside a video of Britney Spears wearing the now infamous crop top, posing and pouting at the camera to “He Loves Me (Lyzel in E Flat)” by Jill Scott.

“So this video for Just a Touch of Rose was shot last year …,” she added.

“These specific takes have never been seen so it’s sort of new to me !!!! I have over 10 minutes of video for the Rose project and trust me that’s A LOT ???!!!”

Spears has yet to provide specific details on what the rose-themed project is, but she did allude to it last year.

“Yes, I know,” she said in an Instagram Story, “I did wear the same top 17 times.

“But it’s for a project. Project Rose. And you will be seeing way more of Project Rose. in the future”

It comes after the “Toxic” hitmaker addressed fan concerns following the release of the FX documentary that charted her career, her relationships and her controversial conservatorship.

Britney Spears revealed that while she has only watched parts of the film that has enthralled the world with its sobering look at her life, she “cried for two weeks” as a result.

“I didn’t watch the documentary but from what I did see of it I was embarrassed by the light they put me in,” she wrote in an Instagram caption.
“I cried for two weeks and well …. I still cry sometimes !!!! I have been exposed my whole life performing in front of people !!!

“It takes a lot of strength to TRUST the universe with your real vulnerability cause I’ve always been so judged… insulted… and embarrassed by the media… and I still am till this day !!!!”
