Rapper Sada Baby says he wants God to smite Lil Nas X. Lil Nas responds by hustling for more sales

Rapper Sada Baby is under fire after he tweeted and then deleted a controversial post wishing death on Lil Nas X, who is currently celebrating after topping the US Billboard charts with gay anthem “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”.

“Bloxk Party” artist Sada Baby made the comments after hearing about fellow rapper DMX’s current condition. He is currently in intensive care after suffering a heart attack due to an alleged drug overdose.

With the 50-year-old’s prognosis looking grim, Sada Baby took the opportunity to ask God why he didn’t inflict this suffering on Lil Nas X instead.

“Lord we said Nas X, not DMX,” he wrote in an Instagram story on Sunday (4 April), alongside a facepalming emoji.

Sada Baby quickly took the post down, but not before it sparked outrage among hip hop fans who slammed him for homophobia.

It’s not the first time Sada Baby has faced accusations of homophobia.

Last year the rapper reeled out a homophobic slur after a Nikki Minaj fan asked him to promote her remix. “Suck my d**k f****t ass fan page,” he replied.

The comment drew attention to his seriously problematic Twitter history, which includes more anti-gay slurs, colourist views about “dark-skinned” people and rape threats towards a follower.

“I wanna slip a roofie n rape her ass all night,” he wrote in 2011.

Fortunately it looks like Sada Baby’s hateful views aren’t going to keep Lil Nas X up at night.

The “Old Town Road” star welcomed the news by simply urging people to keep buying his smash hit “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)”, a song about gay sex that’s currently the world number one.
