‘Lil Nas X’ gives God a raunchy Easter lap dance in hilariously blasphemous SNL skit

Saturday Night Live has descended even further into hell than Lil Nas X with a hilariously blasphemous “Montero” Easter skit.

The latest cold open on Saturday (3 April) saw Chloe Fineman reprise her spot-on take of Britney Spears hosting the talk show that “shines a light on the social pariahs of the week”.

First in the hot seat was Chris Redd as cowboy rapper Lil Nas X, who’s sent conservatives into a pearl-clutching satanic panic over his devilish new video and limited edition Nikes filled with human blood.

“Why are they so upset?” Spears asks.

“Because they’re close-minded idiots?” Lil Nas replies. “People are afraid of me because I’m different, but really I’m just your typical gay Black country rap sneaker entrepreneur. I put my pants on like everyone else – one assless chap at a time.”

And to the Christians mortally offended by the sight of him grinding on the devil: “I would say, ‘You know that wasn’t the real Satan, right?’

“It was a dude in a Halloween devil costume because the real Satan doesn’t do, like, music videos. So maybe chill?”

Furious conservatives have dubbed the bottoming banger “depraved” and “evil”, but SNL raised the stakes further as Spears asked – for the sake of fairness – whether the rapper would also twerk on God.

Of course, Lil Nas X was only too happy to oblige.

“Should I again remind people that was not the real God?” Lil Nas X asked after he finished his lap dance. “That was just my friend Gary.”

The sacrilegious skit caught the eye of the real Lil Nas X, who joking tweeted: “SNL going to hell.”

The sketch also featured problematic Florida congressman Matt Gaetz (played Pete Davidson), who is currently under federal investigation for allegedly having sex with a 17-year-old.

When Gaetz suggested that perhaps he also needed to give a lap dance, Lil Nas X fired back: “If you come anywhere near me, just remember I have hip-hop friends and country friends, the two populations that are guaranteed to own guns.”
