TikTok star Rochelle Hager dies in ‘tragic and unique’ freak accident, aged 31

Rochelle Hager, known on TikTok as Roeurboat3, has tragically died in a freak accident at the age of 31.
Hager died on Monday (30 Monday) in Farmington, Maine after strong winds caused a pine tree branch to fall on top of her car as she was driving.
According to the local newspaper the Portland Press Herald, she was driving down a road shortly before 10am when the accident happened.
Police said Hager was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash after police were alerted to the incident by a neighbour. He said it was likely that she was killed instantly.
Hager’s fiancée Brittanie Lynn confirmed the tragic news of Hager’s untimely death in a TikTok video featuring a montage of photos of the couple together.
Lynn captioned the video: “Thank you for showing me what true love is. I love you forever.”

Police chief Kenneth Charles called the accident that led to Rochelle Hager’s death “tragic and unique”, adding it was “obviously the direct result of the high winds today”. He said there was “nothing she could do to avoid it”.
According to the newspaper wind speeds reached up to 55 miles per hour in the area on Monday which left thousands of people without electricity.
Hager was the only one in the car, a 2015 Nissan Rogue, and no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
As Roeurboat3, Rochelle Hager had over 152,700 followers on TikTok.
She frequently collabed with her fiancée, Britannie Lynn, to share funny videos about their relationship.
Hager described in one video how she joined the social media platform because “quarantine made me do it” and in the year since, her videos have garnered over 1.3 million likes.
Lynn has since posted a series of videos sharing her time with Hager and her grief at the loss of the “love of her life”. In one video, Lynn wrote: “I can’t eat or sleep. All I can do is make videos and wish you were here with me.”
