Artist draws Lil Nas X as a god in the game Hades – the crossover we didn’t even know we needed

Lil Nas X Hades

A concept artist has gone viral after serving up a delicious Lil Nas X and Hades crossover that we never knew we needed.

To celebrate the fact that the defiantly queer rapper is currently taking the world by storm with his new single Montero (Call Me By Your Name), he’s been redrawn as a hellish vision in the award-winning Hades.

The epic music video sees him lap dancing the devil among other things, which is really riling up the conservatives

So what better video game to place him in than Hades, a game set in hell and filled with sexy gods? Have you seen Dionysus’ thighs? Also please step on us Athena.

Concept artist Antonio Demico has reimagined the rapper as a sexy horned devil in Supergiant’s game. It’s a match made in hell that we would gladly lapdance in a heartbeat.

Demico has the rapper posing with a stripper pole as the God of Montero, complete with lyrics from the song: “Call me when you want, call me when you need…”

The artist is currently working on Hexbound, a Kickstarter-funded expansion for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition. The graphical styles are very different, but Demico has impressively managed to match the aesthetic of Hades

Lil Nas X was clearly a fan of the concept as he retweeted the artist’s work to his thousands of fans.

Incidentally, Hades just won the BAFTA Games award for Artistic Achievement, so the game’s visuals have plenty of fans.

Hades was the big winner at the awards, winning five in total including Best Game and Best Narrative.

It’s a roguelike game where you proceed through randomly generated underworld chambers collecting the boons of the Greek gods in your bid to escape. And lead character Zagreus is bisexual, able to romance select gods, so it definitely ticks all the right LGBT+ boxes.

We wouldn’t mind a boon or two from this rapping devil god…
