Atmospheric space adventure Deliver Us The Moon comes to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X

Deliver Us The Moon

Thrilling, atmospheric space adventure Deliver Us The Moon will soon float on to PlayStation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series S/X.

There’s no release date yet, but the game will get a remastered release on the new consoles that will bring visual improvements like ray-tracing shadow effects and reflections, plus improved loading times.

No news yet on 4K resolution or an improved frame rate, but judging by most new console releases that seems a given.

Plus, if you already own the game on current consoles – it was released last year on PS4 and Xbox One, as well as PC – the upgrade will be completely free.

Deliver Us The Moon is an action adventure sci-fi game set in space (obviously), that sees humans colonising the moon for new energy sources as the Earth’s natural resources have been depleted in a near future apocalypse.

You play as Earth’s last astronaut sent to the moon after communications are lost to recover the energy source and save humanity. No small feat.

What entails is a third-person adventure game full of puzzles to solve, along with your robot companion ASE.

The game generally reviewed well on its release, though long load times were an issue. This new upgrade should at least fix that.

The news of the upgrade came at the Wired Direct games event focused on indie titles and presented by Julia Hardy.

Other games announced include the nostalgic arcade simulator Arcade Paradise, the stunning looking underwater puzzle platformer Lumote, and The Last Worker that explores our struggle in an automated world. All are coming to PC and consoles.

Also announced was a free DLC for the BAFTA nominated game The Falconeer. Named Atun’s Folly, it sees you and your bird companion exploring a Pirate settlement in a gorgeous steampunk aesthetic.
