Drag Race UK icon Tayce ditches the baked beans to become new face of Coca-Cola

Tayce Coca Cola Drag Race UK

Drag Race UK icon Tayce has been unveiled as one of the new faces of Coca-Cola’s latest advertising campaign.

Having missed out on the crown in last week’s final, Tayce is launching into her post-Drag Race career with a new advertising campaign for the iconic soft drink.

The season two lip-sync assassin and runner-up is joined by stars including It’s a Sin’s Nathaniel Hall, Roman Kemp, Lady Leshurr, Saffron Barker, and Dua Lipa’s sister, Rina Lipa. The campaign was photographed by Anais Gallagher, daughter of Oasis star Noel Gallagher.

“Everyone knows me as that queen that’s bubbly, unique and hard to describe – just like the taste of a Coca-Cola,” Tayce said. “Honey, that first sip is enough to make you say ‘OOOH!’”

Tayce recently broke her silence on the Drag Race UK finale.

“It feels so surreal that @dragraceukbbc is over,” she wrote on Instagram, “but this is just the beginning.”

“I had the best time and I found an amazing sisterhood. There were highs, lows, I stumbled a few times but I always put my all into everything no matter what, with a smile on my face no less.”

Speaking to PinkNews and other outlets before the final, the Welsh queen said she was glad to have proven herself by lip-syncing four times.

“I think there’s something to be said for a bad old lass who can knock four girls out of the park,” she said.

After the final Tayce hit half a million followers on Instagram. And what’s more, it’s clear that RuPaul is a fan of hers – he saved her four times, after all.

“Honestly, it’s the mind games of it all,” she said. “To lip sync a fourth time, it’s like, do you want me here or not? Or do you just want a show, do you like the performance?”
