Fall Guys season 4: Release time and everything else you need to know, including patch notes
Season 4 of Fall Guys launches today, set in a stylish 80s inspired futuristic world and bringing brand new minigames on your journey to the crown.
Mediatonic have released a brand new trailer for their slapstick competition that shows off the new neon world of Fall Guys, available as a free update to existing players on PC and PlayStation.
Here’s everything you need to know.
This brand new addition allows you to play with friends in a team of four, qualifying together. If any of you win the final round, your whole squad claims victory!
There are also Squad Mode specific stages like Squad Race and Squad Survival, where the lowest scoring squad is eliminated each round.
Fall Guys season 4 introduces a bunch of new rounds to the game. Most exciting is Skyline Stumble that sees 60 players racing through a gauntlet filled with futuristic obstacles. Power Trip has beans competing on a disco dancefloor, Short Circuit is littered with gravity-defying obstacles, and Hoverboard Heroes has the beans on, you guessed it, hoverboards.
Check out the official patch notes for the full list of seven.
Each day you can log on to compete in daily challenges to earn Fame and Crown Shards currencies. Crown Shards are a new currency collected through Challenges and Squad competitions – collect 60 shards to earn a crown!
Fall Guys is hilarious for its ragdoll physics that sees beans flying all over the place. But now Mediatonic have tweaked them to be a little sturdier. You’ll still experience all the mayhem, but without the frustration of flying beans at the slightest touch.
Other smaller fixes and improvements have been made too, which you can read in the official patch notes.
Mediatonic have also revealed the new features on a lengthy Twitter thread, so you can see it all in action!
