Sony announce more free games coming to Play At Home, including the incredible Horizon Zero Dawn
Part of Sony’s Play At Home scheme, ten indie and VR games will be available for free from 25 March onwards.
The list includes indie titles like the underwater adventures Abzu and Subnautica, thrilling shooter Rez Infinite, and VR games like Astro Bot Rescue Mission and rhythm game Thumper.
Best of all, the epic Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition will be available in full for free from 19 April – if you’re yet to play, here’s your chance to catch up on this stunning open-world adventure.
Earlier this month, Ratchet & Clank on PS4 was made available for free under the Play At Home programme. Gamers have until the end of this month to snap it up.
A free trial of the anime-focused subscription service Funimation is also included as part of the programme.
Play At Home began last year as Sony’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection and Journey were both made available for free in a bid to promote social distancing and get gamers to stay at home.
A $10million indie support fund was also announced to help struggling developers.
In more PlayStation news, Sony also revealed a number of brand new indie titles coming to PlayStation consoles.
Critically acclaimed PC title Disco Elysium will be arriving on PlayStation on 30 March in Final Cut form. The game sees an amnesiac detective investigating a murder case, with a unique RPG skill system and full voice acting in this new version.
Also announced was Chicory: A Colorful Tale, an adorable looking game about a dog painting a colourful world. For food and music lovers there’s Nour: Play With Your Food, a music game about food that makes us very hungry.
