Teen Wolf star Tyler Posey has reflected on his coming out as sexually fluid on OnlyFans.

Posey, 29, discussed his recent sobriety journey, OnlyFans and coming out on Tuesday’s (9 March) episode of the Just for Variety podcast.

He told host Marc Malkin how he was “full-on sober” for about five months and was taking care of himself by “meditating every day and praying”.

“I felt like since I was about 14-years-old, I’ve stunted my mental growth from just dealing with anything and dealing with it with weed or drugs or booze,” Posey said. “The time that I was sober I felt like it kickstarted me growing up and sped up the process of me growing up and dealing with the stuff that I haven’t been dealing with forever.”

Posey first opened up about his sobriety in October during an appearance on SiriusXM’s The Jason Ellis Show. He said he “fell out” with loved ones and “became kind of a recluse” because of substance abuse, but he was sober and able to “love myself for the first time in forever”.

On the day the interview was released, Tyler Posey trended on Twitter after nude content from his OnlyFans was leaked.

He joined the platform last year, and has previously said that he finds it “draining”.

Tyler Posey says coming out on OnlyFans was a ‘split-second decision’

Tyler Posey came out as sexually fluid live on OnlyFans in October.

He recalled the experience coming out during a live session while speaking to the Just for Variety podcast. Posey said people were asking him stuff “that horny people would ask you” like if he had ever “been with a man” or been with the “opposite sex”.

“And I was just being honest about it because no one’s ever asked me before,” Posey said.

He said OnlyFans gave him a “really good platform to be really open about my sexuality” and even his struggles with drug abuse.

But he admitted that coming out on the platform was a “split-second decision”. He said he didn’t think about how his sexuality would be received or “what kind of press I would get on it”.

“But I woke up the next day, and it was all these tabloids about me coming out as pansexual,” Posey said.”I didn’t label that. The kids, the fans or whoever wrote the articles labelled that.”

He shared that he had gotten some “good feedback” from being open about his sexuality and his struggles. Posey said his dad, who he had never talked about his sexuality with, had called him after he came out on OnlyFans.

He said his dad wanted to make sure he was not “overwhelmed or stressed out” about the influx of news coverage about his sexuality. Posey said: “Fortunately, my dad was awesome.

“I’ve told people, kids who are worried about telling their parents, [about] my dad’s reaction, and they’re like ‘okay, well, maybe my parents won’t be so hard on me if I tell them’.”
