An adorable Winnie the Pooh Lego store collection is being released this Easter.

The new set inspired by AA Milne’s beloved tales of Christopher Robin and friends will bring plenty of nostalgia for adults, while introducing kids to the timeless characters.

The set is priced at £89.99, featuring more than 1,200 pieces and fans can get their hands on it from the Lego store on 1 April.

There’s also a way to get it early, with VIP access taking place on 18 March for those signed up with a Lego account, to find out more about this go to lego.com.

It features Pooh’s treehouse which can be opened up to reveal plenty of familiar items including ‘hunny’ pots, a box of Poohsticks and a map of Hundred Acre Wood.

The set comes with Winnie the Pooh himself alongside a red balloon to collect honey from the bees, Piglet, Tigger, Rabbit and Eeyore who has a removable ribbon on his tail.

Other features include a signpost to Hundred Acre Wood, beehives on the trees, cute little bee pieces, a campfire and log and Pooh’s front door complete with the ‘Mr Sanders’ sign above it.

The title character is a self-care icon, with one Twitter user putting it perfectly: “reminder that winnie the pooh wore a crop top w/ no panties and ate his fave food and loved himself and u can too.”

Other Lego and Winnie the Pooh fans reacted positively on social media to the announcement, with one saying: “No need to ‘think think think’ on it. This is a must-buy for me.”

Another echoed Tigger, adding: “Hooo hooo hooo hoooooooo! When are these being released?!”

Some social media users were disappointed with the omission of characters Christopher Robin, Kanga, Roo and Owl but hopefully Lego will release more figurines in the future to add to the set.

This has happened with previous Disney releases including Star Wars, Marvel franchise, Frozen and more recently with new sets inspired by latest film Raya and the Last Dragon.
