Lady Gaga’s dog walker ‘shot four times in the chest’ by thugs who stole two of her bulldogs

Lady Gaga dogs stolen

Lady Gaga’s dog walker was reportedly shot four times in the chest and two of her French bulldogs were kidnapped in a shocking incident in Los Angeles.

Ryan Fischer, 30, brought Gaga’s dogs Koji, Miss Asia and Gustav for a walk in West Hollywood at around 10pm on Wednesday night (25 February), the Daily Mail reports.

Two men wearing baseball caps approached Fischer and shot him before stealing Koji and Gustavo. Miss Asia escaped and was later found by police. The assailants made their getaway in a white BMW on Sierra Bonita Avenue.

Fischer was still conscious but his breathing was laboured when police arrived at the scene. He was rushed to hospital to undergo treatment, and he is expected to make a full recovery.

One of Lady Gaga’s bodyguards was later photographed walking out of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Hollywood headquarters with Miss Asia in tow.

It is not yet clear if the robbers targeted Fischer because he was walking Gaga’s dogs or if it was a random attack. French bulldogs are notoriously expensive to buy, meaning they are often targeted by thieves.

Lady Gaga offering a $500,000 reward for the return of her dogs

Gaga is reportedly offering a $500,000 reward for the return of the dogs with “no questions asked”, according to TMZ.

The news outlet reports that Gaga – who is currently shooting a new film in Rome, Italy – is extremely upset at the news, and she is desperate to get her much-loved dogs back home.

An email address has been set up for anybody with information on the whereabouts of Gaga’s dogs. They are being urged to contact [email protected], according to TMZ.

The Los Angeles Police Department declined to comment when contacted by PinkNews, but previously told the Daily Mail that it was too soon to know “if it was a robbery”. They have not yet ruled out gang violence or homelessness.

Lady Gaga has shared numerous adorable snaps of her dogs on Instagram over the years, and they also had a star turn in her Netflix documentary Five Foot Two.

The heartbreaking news comes after a busy few months for Gaga, in which she sang the national anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration.
