Raging transphobic rapper Boosie Badazz dismisses Mike Tyson’s non-binary child Ramsey as ‘built like a d*ke’
Transphobic rapper Boosie Badazz has dismissed a conversation with Mike Tyson’s child Ramsey about trans kids, saying they are “built like a dyke”.
Boosie was confronted by Ramsey Tyson last year while their father Mike was interviewing the rapper on his Hotboxin’ With Mike Tyson podcast.
Over the last year, Boosie has become obsessed with Zaya Wade, daughter of retired NBA player Dwyane Wade and actor Gabrielle Union, making repeated transphobic remarks about her.
Although Tyson was confused about the difference between being gay and being trans, he was widely praised for challenging Boosie after a clip of the podcast went viral on social media.
Tyson later told VLAD TV that his 24-year-old child Ramsey had been present at the podcast recording, and that he was worried they would “attack” Boosie over his transphobia.
“I was watching [them], [they] wanted to physically grab this guy, and started attacking this guy,” Tyson said of Ramsey.
He added: “I had to come in, I was watching [them]. [They] explained [themselves], then he explained himself and it didn’t go as bad as I thought it was going to go.”
Boosie responded: “Er… I don’t know. [They] just looked like.. No, [they weren’t] physically bigger than me.”
The rapper then went on to use even more anti-LGBT+ language, adding: “[They were] just, you know, [they’re] a butch, you know? You know how they be built. Like a dyke, man.”
Asked whether he was worried the situation would become “violent”, he said: “No, I didn’t feel like it would get violent… [They] asked me questions, I asked [them] questions.
“[They] said what [they] had to say, I said what I had to say.”
Ramsey Tyson “can’t stress enough” that they would never cross the country to speak to Boosie Badazz.
While Mike Tyson said that Ramsey, who is non-binary and transmasculine, had flown across the country to confront Boosie Badazz at the podcast recording, in an interview with them., they explained that there was more to the story.
Speaking in November, Ramsey said they were in Los Angeles to visit friends and decided to stop by and visit their father, adding: “I can’t stress enough how I would never fly across the country to talk to Lil Boosie, ever.”

Ramsey said they were unaware that Boosie was the podcast guest, and “briefly” explained his transphobic comments about Zaya to their father, but added that he went into the interview “with such little information”.
Although they considered interrupting the recording to confront Boosie when the conversation started to “get out of hand”, they decided to have a discussion with him afterwards.
They said: “Part of the reason why I wanted to talk to Boosie about it is because I’m a non-binary person who’s socially transitioned amongst my friends and started a medical transition. I felt like I couldn’t not say something.”
Ramsey continued: “I ended up having to explain to him, even, that sexuality and gender are two different things, and he was blown away by that.
“He and his friends were like, ‘I never heard that before.’ And then I was like, ‘Oh, got it.’ He really has no idea what he was saying… I think he definitely got that he was out of line and shouldn’t have said anything, but I don’t think his opinions changed.”
Ramsey also addressed their father misgendering them. They said that they know he “didn’t mean it maliciously”, and that while they hadn’t come out to all their family they had spoken to him “about gender identity very briefly”.
