Brand new DJ mash-up game Fuser has serious Guitar Hero energy, and it slaps

Fuser

It’s time to crack out your virtual DJ decks and give Fuser a spin as a free demo is now available on consoles and PC.

From Harmonix – the makers of Guitar Hero and Rock Band – Fuser is a critically-acclaimed DJ simulator that sees your customised star mixing tunes and beats from smash hit songs across a series of virtual music festivals.

Songs include a huge mix of bangers and classics like Dua Lipa’s Don’t Start Now, Billie Eilish’s Bad Guy, Cardi B’s Bodak Yellow and loads more, with DLC packs adding a load of extra tracks.

The demo contains a single tutorial level that acts as a taster of the main game. Each song from your music box is split into four channels – vocals, drums, bass, keys – that can be combined across your four decks.

Musical wizardry from Harmonix instantly and seamlessly merges the tracks together to make for some unique remixes. From there you can change the tempo and key, add special effects and compose extra melodies to add in your own flair.

Ever imagined Gaga wailing Born This Way over the guitars of Rage Against The Machine’s Killing In The Name? Nicki Minaj rapping Starships over Bananarama’s iconic Venus bass line? Carly Rae Jepsen’s Call Me Maybe spliced with Dolly Parton’s Jolene? Well now you can. With a huge range of pop, dance, rock, hip-hop songs and more, it’s easy to make unexpected yet very cool remixes that slap hard.

The demo is available now on PlayStation 5 and 4, PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles. What’s more, the game is free this weekend until 21 February for Xbox Live Gold and Game Pass players. Don’t miss it!
